I got a question the other day from someone who is new about his N scale layouts, if anyone can help this guy, please comment below.
N Scale Question
I’ve just started with my model trains in N scale, I’ll be using a Atlas Code 55 track, i’ll have a main line, with a branch and small yards with industrial spurs. I’ll use 5 turnouts. While working on my yard design I am not sure what is require to transition from the turnout to parallel tracks.
At the throat of the yard, I should use turnouts, so should I use ship switches or turnouts when switching is required in the yard area?
What type of curve should I use between the turnout and strieght track?
Maybe a 10 inch radius full or half section,? I don’t know.
